Appearance
Locale and timezone
Component options for @mes/aps@1.23.0. Prefix Settings names with schedule.; see how to fill in a record.
These options format time-scale labels and the current-time line's label. Tooltip and bar-label transforms receive them as context; without a transform, setting a timezone alone does not format those dates. Neither option rewrites operation start or finish instants in the supplied data.
Date and time format
appSettings.locale
Locale for date/time formatting.
- Type: BCP-47 language tag, such as
ru-RU,en-US, orde-DE. - Default:
ru-RU. - Not validated; an invalid tag causes a formatting error during drawing. The current-time line captures the locale when the chart is created.
appSettings.timezone
Timezone for date/time labels.
- Type: IANA timezone name, such as
UTC,Europe/Moscow, orAsia/Yekaterinburg. - Package default:
UTC. - Omission in
createConfigretainsUTC. An empty or unrecognized final value falls back to the browser timezone without a warning. A typo may therefore look valid while showing local time.
Affected elements
| Element | Locale | Timezone |
|---|---|---|
| Time-scale tick labels | Yes | Yes |
| Current-time line label | Yes | Yes |
| Tooltip and bar-label dates | Only when the configured transform uses this context; sections are empty by default | Same |
| Operation input instants | Not rewritten | Not rewritten |
This table describes formatting, not a guarantee that every calculation is independent of the browser timezone. See tooltips and labels for field transformations and the panel guide for application behavior.
Example
json
{
"appSettings": {
"locale": "ru-RU",
"timezone": "Asia/Yekaterinburg"
}
}The scale and current-time line show Yekaterinburg time. The instant 2026-09-22T08:00:00.000Z shows 13:00 when the current zoom includes hours in its label format. A tooltip without a transform still shows the raw value, such as 2026-09-22T08:00:00.000Z.
